Training should give more than it takes. We want you to feel better when you leave our gym than when you arrived. Pain, discomfort, or excessive soreness are warning signs to slow down and pay attention. Safety is first.
Ocala School of strength was founded by Quincy Henry. Coach Q is an experienced professional trainer who developed a passion for fitness at 13 years old. Now with over 27 years “under the bar” he has coached hundreds of clients ranging from aged 30 through 93. He specializes in movement restoration ,functional strength training, and progressive resistance exercise.
Coach Q truly has a passion for coaching and helping others unlock the strength within and become better humans through better movement.
He has a unique approach to establishing a foundation for his clients to create lasting change and build the strength they need to enjoy life to the fullest!
Quincy is certified by the American Council on Exercise as a personal trainer, and functional exercise specialist and he is a StrongFirst Certified Kettlebell Instructor. He also holds certifications from Original Strength Institute, and Functional Movement Systems.
Coach Q believes in constant growth and maintaining a beginners mindset throughout life, seeking constantly to improve himself and the service he provides to his students. He is a devoted husband to his wife of 10 years Lili and father of 1 amazing son, Xavier.
